Welcome to another new year of club activities. 2011 is looking to be a full year of radio control activities.
Election of officers took place at the December 2010 meeting. Officers elected for the new year are Bill Huegel – President, Jerry Buehler – Vice President, Kathy Basiago – Secretary, and Walt Basiago – Treasurer. We wish the new officers success in their efforts for the upcoming year.
A sincere Thank You goes to the outgoing officers for their dedication to the club. George Moyer, John Gelety, and John Wapensky have given time and effort to ensuring a successful flying experience for all. Also thank you to John Majikas for his work on the Club Newsletter. GREAT JOB ALL!
The Mall Shows are fast approaching. The Pottsville show will take place the first weekend in February. The Frackville show is scheduled for the last weekend in March. Let’s get those “Hangar Queens” gussied up for their new year debut. Come out for a good time of talking shop and spreading the word on radio control flying.
2011 Club Dues are now due. Dues can be sent to Walt Basiago-Club Treasurer, 26 Bittners Road, Barnesville, PA 18214. Because of the election of a new Treasurer, there will not be a $10.00 late fee this year. Please submit your payment as soon as possible, if you have not already done so. If anyone has questions or needs more information, you can also email Walt or Kathy at wbasiago@ptd.net.
