WELCOME TO THE TUSCARORA RC FLYING CLUB
From North:
Interstate 81 south to Exit #134 (Delano Exit).
Left at stop sign at end of off ramp (proceed under the interstate)
Follow this winding road down the mountain to the next stop sign
(Rural Post Office on your left)
Make a left at this stop sign. (you are now on Route 54 east)
Follow this road about 1 mile till your first right hand turn
Follow this road up the hill about another mile till your first left.
Make this left and field is about 1 mile up on your right.
From South:
Rt 309 North into the town of Tamaqua.
Once in the town of Tamaqua, continue on Rt 309 north. The north and south
bound lanes will separate as you go through town.
Once the lanes come back together (Jeep dealership on your right), you want to
take your next Left (kind veer left) hand turn about 1/4 mile up the road from
the Jeep dealer. There should be brown signs for Tuscarora State Park. Follow
that road for a few miles. You will go PAST the entrance to the State Park.
About 1/2 mile past the state park, you will veer left (Golf course right in
front of you)
Follow the road down along side of the golf course, past the club house and the
field is about a half mile down on your left.
From South (Heading north on I 81)
Interstate 81 North to Exit #131A (Hometown/Mahanoy City exit)).
Right at stop sign at end of off ramp (this is RT 54 east)
Follow this winding road down the mountain.
The road will make a sharp right hand turn after going over some railroad tracks)
(Rural Post Office in front of you)
After the Post office turn, follow this road about 1 mile till your first right hand turn.
Follow this road up the hill about another mile till your first left.
Make this left and the field is about 1 mile up on your right.
